How does it work?

Neat Snicket will reduce your smoking in steps. Each step is longer than the previous makes your task easier. The first step will last fore one day. Second for two days, third for three days. Etc. You will be allowed to smoke based on your base number and the actual step. Your base number will be calculated according your current smoking habits and it’s unit is minutes

In the first step, which is only one day long you will have to wait for your first cigarette one times a base number. Neat Snicket signals you may smoke but that does not mean you have to. You can postpone it as long as you wish. When you finished that cigarette for the next one you have to wait two times the base number and after that again two times your base number. For the next three cigarette you have to wait three times your base number for each of them. For the next four you wait four times your base number for each. And it goes on.

The second step is two days long. But this time after the day started you have to wait two times a base number before a first cigarette and again two times a base number before a second one. And the day in this step continues as in the first step The third step is three days long. For the first tree cigarettes you wait three times a base number for a next four you wait four times a base number … etc.

The fourth step is four days long. For the first four cigarettes … You probably got it by now. As mentioned: following Neat Snicket will not make you quit smoking just reducing your smoking.
